What's My story?
I had a great undergraduate professor at Kentucky Wesleyan College who introduced me to technical writing. He inspired me to major in English, encouraging me to focus on technical writing. I went on to earn an English major, eschewing literature classes in favor of writing and language classes.
However, while the ability to communicate clearly and concisely is always a plus, I have not held any jobs in technical communication. Earning a master’s degree in professional and technical writitng was an opportunity to bolster my knowledge and develop my skills to work in the field.
